How much do I need to deposit to open a Savings Account?
You need to deposit $1, which secures your Yolo Federal Credit Union membership.
There is a minimum balance of $100 to avoid a $5 monthly fee. If your balance stays below this, you will be assessed a $5 fee for each month. The fee may be waived if you are:
- Younger than 23 years old
- Receive a direct deposit each month
- Have a loan or deposit account with us that is greater than $5,000
Is there a required balance to start earning dividends for Savings Account?
No. You start earning dividends right away.
